Coronavirus Tips you can Rely On
Due to the spread of Coronavirus in Birmingham, we’re all feeling the strain and unease that comes with the changes that occur day-to-day. However, it’s possible to stay properly informed and still do our part in limiting the spread of this pandemic throughout Birmingham. Carefully review the following tips that are recommended by the CDC and the World Health Organization (WHO), which include but aren’t limited to:
- Wash the hands: Washing the hands is the easiest way to take control of your personal hygiene and health. Make sure to use soap and water while following the CDC recommendation of a minimum of 20 seconds at a time. Add more time to this task if you’ve left home recently.
- Use hand sanitizer: Soap and water may be number one, but sanitizer is no slouch. It’s been noted that using sanitizer that’s at least 60% alcohol can help prevent coronavirus.
- Self-isolation: This is also known as social distancing. For residents of Birmingham, this is a must-do. Make sure to stay at home as much as possible. If you do go out, be sure to maintain a safe distance of at least six feet from everyone else.
- Cleaning the home: The home needs attention as well. As such, be sure to clean thoroughly by sanitizing and disinfecting the home as needed. For the best results, follow the sanitization protocol established by the World Health Organization.
